Take A Look At Fire Emblem’s Dungeon-Crawling Feature

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is less than a week away from its release on the 3DS. Nintendo’s Treehouse Log over on Tumblr has been taking a look at the game’s various aspects. This includes the game’s combat and characters. The latest post delves into the dungeon crawling feature in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

The first thing to note about the dungeons is that the enemies are visible and have fairly distinct movements.

This means the player will have to navigate around them, though this will be fairly easy. In addition, avoiding combat will be easy, but players looking to strengthen their party should seek out the battles instead.

Instigating a fight will give players the preemptive advantage, leaving enemies with less than their full HP at the start of the battle. These dungeons also have treasure waiting to be discovered. The treasures will give the players weapons, as well as food and money.
